President Meets with Other Industry Leaders at IT Pro
Conference in New Orleans
CisCom President
David Ely traveled to New Orleans this month to attend the IT Pro
Conference of 2008. This provided him the opportunity
to meet in person with Microsoft personnel, learn about new
products and services, network with other IT entreprenuers and stay
abreast of industry trends. Session topics included server
platforms and infrastructure, data protection and backups, small
business server migrations, Microsoft SharePoint, business
planning and more. This type of specific training is part of
CisCom's commitment to be a leader in the Louisville area's IT market.

Microsoft
& Dell Phase Out Windows XP
Soon
Dell will cease offering Windows XP as a standard option.
According to our Dell representative, customers will be able to
order XP on some of the business class machines if they order the
Vista Business with XP downgrade rights. An exact date for the
change has not been released.
