David Ely

David Ely

Director of Finance & Administration

In 1996, David Ely founded CisCom Solutions to serve the computer needs of small to medium-size businesses in the Kentuckiana area. Twenty years later, his business philosophy of developing long-term client relationships by providing outstanding customer service, has catapulted CisCom into a leading role in the local technology market. With a broad knowledge of IT systems, David continues to keep CisCom on the leading edge of technology by serving in many leadership positions with local and national business groups. When he’s allowed to take time off, David enjoys hiking, scuba diving, volunteering, and raising his two teenage sons.


Scott Walters

Scott Walters

Director of Operations & Marketing

A proud Hoosier, Scott is a Managing Partner at CisCom Solutions and has been with the company since 2000. Prior to meeting David, Scott owned his own Technology company, LiquidHouse Technology Solutions, which merged with CisCom Solutions in April of 2008. Scott is married with four children, so free time is not an option. He spends most of his time away from the office coaching his boys in the local youth leagues, watching his daughter cheer, or playing golf.


Ken Higdon

Ken Higdon

Director of Sales & Services

With more than 25 years of IT experience, including 9 years of consulting and 19 years designing and maintaining small to medium-sized business networks, Ken is CisCom’s most Senior Level Engineer. Since starting his career with America Online in 1992 as a support technician, he has grown his expertise to include project management, routing/switching, network security, virtualization, phone systems, copper/ fiber network design, security camera systems, and access control systems. Some of Ken’s hobbies include traveling, time “unplugged” at the lake or in the mountains, and fishing.


Dustin Riley

Dustin Riley

Level 2 Support Manager

As one of CisCom’s longest tenured employees, Dustin has occupied virtually every position. In his current role, he is tasked with the responsibility of overseeing day-to-day service and support to our customer base. Dustin holds many certifications with Dell, Microsoft, and Sonicwall, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Security from I.T.T. Technical Institute.


Scott Brawner

Scott Brawner

Level 1 Support Manager / Level 2 Engineer

Scott has been working in the technology industry for over 20 years. He started his IT career as the Travel Services Administrator for AAA Kentucky where his responsibilities included system implementation and support, product beta testing, and software training. He served on the advisory boards of multiple AAA software vendors to contribute to the advancement of their products. Since 2006 Scott has been working in the IT consulting business providing design, implementation, and support services for servers, networking, and VoIP systems. He holds several certifications, including Certified Sonicwall Security Professional (CSSP), Network+, and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). In his spare time, Scott enjoys playing guitar.


Bob Ellison

Bob Ellison

Lexington Support Manager

Bob comes to CisCom as the Support Manager for the new Lexington division of CisCom as part of the recent acquisition of Missing Link Managed I.T. LLC.

Bob is a U.S. Navy veteran, serving just under ten years as a submarine Nuclear Reactor Operator and Prototype Training Instructor. During this time, he learned the value of integrity and the importance of procedural compliance, systems redundancy, and preventive monitoring/maintenance. After his time in the military, Bob worked in various I.T. roles for military defense contractors, school districts, and local computer support providers. In 2003, Bob started Missing Link Technology Advisors which grew to become one of Lexington’s first Managed Service Providers. He is married and has three grown daughters, all currently living in the Lexington area.

Sales Support & Vendor Manager

Tom has held a number of sales, sales management, vendor relations and purchasing positions over the past 25 years. During that time he has worked with customers ranging from “mom and pop” businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Tom works with our engineers, vendors and our customers to craft a proper solution and that is delivered accurately and on time.


Tammie Owens

Tammie Owens

Controller & Human Resources Coordinator

Tammie joined CisCom Solutions as CisCom’s Controller/HR Coordinator in September of 2011. She has 30 years’ experience in accounting and also owns a small bookkeeping firm located south of Lexington. Tammie is involved in her church, serving as Nursery worker, and Assistant Treasurer. She also enjoys traveling on Mission trips and has served in Mexico and Haiti. She enjoys reading and knitting in her down time.


Andrew Smith

Marketing & Account Executive

Andrew has 15+ years of sales management and customer service experience with “big box” electronics companies. Most recently working for T-Mobile US as a subject matter expert for B2B, mobile internet products & services, customer loyalty, and developing leadership training programs for internal succession planning.

He has a love for all things technology related, and in his spare time, enjoys spending as much time as he can with his 3 kids, serving at his local church, blogging, reading everything he can get his hands on, and travelling.

Charles Collins

Infrastructure and Security Engineer

Charles has worked in the computer industry for close to 20 years and has an extensive knowledge of networks, both hardware and software. Along with being CISCO certified, he holds many vender certifications, and is our resident expert on Access control, Camera systems, and cabling. In his spare time, Charles has held various leadership positions and is currently the District Program Chair and assistant Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America. Recently, he received the BSA Presidents award.


Stanley Quaranta

Help Desk Team Lead / Level 1 Engineer

To say that Stanley has seen it all would be a major understatement. With over 30 years of experience, managing and working in the technology industry, his breadth of knowledge is extensive. He currently maintains many certifications, including ones from Microsoft, Novell, Dell, HP, NEC, as well as others. Stanley served in the United States Air Force and enjoys, camping, fishing, and hiking in his spare time.


Jonathan Broyles

Jonathan Broyles

Level 2 Engineer

Although Jonathan has only been in the Technology industry for a little over 5 years, his extensive set of skills and knowledge rival many seasoned engineers. As a 2nd Level Support Engineer, you’ll most likely see him working on projects, such as data migrations, Skype for Business rollouts, email conversions, and his real passion… documentation. He is currently a Microsoft Certified Specialist, focusing on Hyper-V and Office 365. More recently, he has started to develop an interest in Cisco Networking, and telephony. When Jonathan isn’t in front of a computer, he spends his time restoring antique vehicles and brewing beverages of choice.

Help Desk/Level 1 Engineer

Tim joined the CisCom family in August 2015. His passions include; Jesus, his wife, and… Youtube. He started his career in the IT field doing helpdesk during high school, continuing to study Telecommunications Systems Management and Nonprofit Leadership Studies during college at Murray State University. At CisCom, Tim provides level one technical support. Tim would like to continue broadening his technical expertise with certifications and learning more about networking.


Kestin McNickle

Help Desk/Level 1 Engineer

Born in Berlin, Germany, Kestin is the son of a U.S. Army Cavalry Scout and eventually went in to the Army himself. He has called many places home over the years, including Egypt, Korea, Ohio, Tennessee, Indiana, Missouri, South Carolina, and eventually ending up in Kentucky. Like any good computer geek, Kestin loves playing with any type of new technology or gadget.

Help Desk/Level 1 Engineer

Gerald has the distinct honor of being the first employee hired by CisCom for the Lexington office. He has a passion for helping people and thoroughly enjoys diagnosing problem and working towards a solution. During High School, he obtained the CompTIA certifications: A+, Network+ and Security+. In his spare time, Gerald is either tinkering with computer hardware or playing video games.


Terry Conway

Terry Conway

Level 2 Engineer

Terry has worked in the Technology field for over 10 years. At a young age, he began tinkering with computers and it eventually turned into a career in Information Systems. Terry went to school at Prosser in Indiana and focused on Networking, Security, and Cisco. After school, he worked in the Medical IT field for over eight years on the Help Desk, always focusing on keeping the client happy. Most of Terry’s free time is taken up with his three children and fiancé, but when he can squeeze out some time, he likes to research and play with emerging technologies with a strong interest in Security and System Administration.


Todd Olson

Todd Olson

Help Desk/Level 1 Engineer

After graduating high school as an honor student, Todd went straight to work for a big box retailer as a laptop repair technician. Since then, he has worked with all kinds of tech gadgets and was even a part-time music producer and DJ. He is CompTIA A+ certified, and is currently working on CompTIA Network+ and MCSA Windows Server 2016 certifications. With CisCom, Todd provides outstanding client service, Level 1 support, and hopes to broaden his knowledge of IT. At home, he enjoys playing with his two small children, fantasy football, and Sunday morning golf.


Josh Barnett

Help Desk/Level 1 Engineer

Ever since he was young, Josh has been really into computers and technology in general. He first used that interest to work for Geek Squad after high school. He spent a total of 7 years with that company as both a repair technician and eventually a supervisor before switching to our team here at CisCom.

Josh most enjoys spending his free time with his wife and daughter, mountain bike riding, attending Louisville football games, playing golf, and learning new things (such as expanding on his technical certifications).


Rob Vann

Rob Vann

Help Desk/Level 1 Engineer

Rob has lived in Louisville for 12 years and graduated from the University of Louisville. Following the University of Louisville and 4 years as a Business Account Executive, Rob studied System Administration at Sullivan University, and he is currently working on a Masters in Information Security at Regis University. He has worked in IT the past 4 1/2 years as Desktop Support and most recently as Systems Administrator in the manufacturing sector. He has supported large groups in both the For-Profit and Non-Profit sectors.

When he isn’t busy learning about new technology or attending class, he enjoys spending time with his two dogs, going to the park, and discovering new places.
